This American actress and model was born as Margaret Denise Quigley in Honolulu. She has two older sisters and two older half-siblings from her mother's previous marriage. Her American father with Polish and Irish roots was born in New York. Her Vietnamese mother meets her father in Vietnam when he was stationed during the Vietnam War. Her mother moved as immigrant to Hawaii with her father after the war. The family moved later from Honolulu to Mililani Town where they settled.

She had an short-term relation with actor Daniel Henney in 2005 for a few months. She started an relation with American actor Justin Long in may 2007 after their meeting at the Playboy mansion.
